This educational activity is designed for nurse practitioners and physician assistants specializing in dermatology.
GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
Through case-based presentation and discussion panels, summarize updates in diagnosis, classification, therapies, and immune-system targets in psoriasis, PsA, and AD and describe their clinical implications.
- Cite the mechanisms of action of various drugs that are commonly prescribed by dermatologists and devices that are used by dermatology medical health professionals to treat skin conditions.
- Define appropriate outcome measures for the optimal follow-up of patients with dermatologic diseases as well as those receiving cosmetic procedures in order to improve healthcare outcomes.
- Experience demonstrations and participate in discussion when utilizing dermoscopy and toxins/fillers in order to improve core competency for the medical provider and ultimately maximize patient and healthcare outcomes.
